Commando Massacre Hall of Lords

Lord Tokamoto (Lord- May 21, 1931- August 10, 1986)

Date of Birth: January 13, 1909
Date of Death: August 10, 1986 (age 77)

Summary: Tokamoto was the eldest son of Lord Yatomi (1875-1911) and Lady Okihoti (1881-1911). In September 1911 Kogasuma forces assassinated Tokamoto’s parents and took over most of the nation. With the aide of his father’s secretary, Sanatogi (1864-1924), Tokamoto was able to flee to a remote island in the Xi Ocean. Heavily trained in many martial arts (in particular Ninjutsu) Tokamoto vowed to return and take back the nation. In the spring of 1931 Tokamoto returned in secret and organized a secret army. After a lengthy series of battles Tokamoto was victorious and declared himself Lord.
Throughout the 1930’s and early 1940’s Tokamoto had to constantly repel invading Kogasuma forces, becoming a legend to his people. In 1933 with the aide of Sai Shamogu (1898-1978) he formed the National Council, a legislative body. By the mid-1940’s Tokamoto became disillusioned with his role in life and became a hermit. During this time it is believed he had a nervous breakdown. Soon thereafter he decided to form the ultimate Ninja Empire. In 1952 he ordered the construction of a huge warehouse styled fortress which becomes the Team Base and named the empire the Commando Massacres, a name he thought sounded good but many thought was “goofy”. Another emotional crisis gripped Tokamoto in the early 1950’s, the 1953 marriage of his long time love interest Ilene Fox to Edgar Dignon, a member of the National Council. Ilene Fox had helped him drive out the Kogasuma in the 1930’s and for a time loved Tokamoto. Their relationship soured when Tokamoto began to womanize and boast of his many female conquests. By 1953 they had become friends again but Tokamoto was still hurt by her marriage.
Tokamoto found internal peace threw a holy man named Rev. Aguso Daifu (1890-1962). Rev. Daifu preached a bizarre mix of Christianity and Judaism. Tokamoto decided to structure his empire around these religious teachings. Many thought this was very weird including Ilene Fox and his many comrades from his early struggles. A ninja empire ruled threw propagandized religion.
Throughout the 1960’s and 1970’s the CM empire had peace with the Kogasuma and had limited trade and relations. The National Council secretly kidnapped Rev.Daifu in 1959, when he started making power plays. In the late 1970’s, separatist guerrillas in the south of the empire started waging a guerrilla war agents the CM. In 1979 Tokamoto was nearly killed by a bomb while touring the area. In the early 1980’s he organized a highly skilled team to crush these guerrillas. This team consisted of Master Ninja Yamada, PeeWee Ninja, and Suzanne Fox; all thought his outstanding and deadly styles of martial arts, especially ninjustsu. These guerrillas were quickly crushed.
By the early 1980’s Tokamoto had become increasingly ill and feeble. In 1983 he named his secretary Sacamoto as his successor. He decided to end the monarchy style of rule in the CM by not naming his brother Quimoto or one of his illegitimate children.
Tokamoto would die of heart failure in 1986 after spending his final years ill and battle dementia. His death would spark chaos throughout the nation.

Lord Sacamoto (Lord- August 10, 1986- September 9, 1986)

Date of Birth: March 10, 1920
Date of Death: September 14, 1986 (age 66)

Summary: Sacamoto had been a dutiful servant of Tokamoto for over twenty years. Sacamoto served as a town mayor (Rankaar Village) from 1966-1971, Jan Province governor from 1971-1978, and finally Lord Tokamoto’s Assistant/ Secretary from 1978-1983. In 1983 he was named Lord Tokamoto’s successor and would perform many of the duties of state, as Tokamoto became increasingly feeble. On Tokamoto’s death, Sacamoto pledged to continue the policies of Tokamoto. Sacamoto’s major challenge was to quell the national panic created by Tokamoto’s death and the increased hostilities with the Kogasuma. At first he aligned himself with Yamada and other dominant personalities from Tokamoto’s hierarchy but his weak leadership skills became evident. Two weeks into his term his wife Sacamuru was assassinated by Kogasuma forces. Without a strong response Sacamoto’s enemies in the National Council began a campaign to oust him. Councilman Saitomoto begins an election campaign to replace Sacamoto who decided to challenge the vote. With a rushed election, on September 9th, 1986, Saitomoto defeats Sacamoto. With the assistance of Yamada, PeeWee, and Major Phillips, Sacamoto is secretly arrest on the night of the election and sent to the Kogasuma as a peace offering. The Kogasuma order Sacamoto interrogated and beaten. He dies from his beatings within a few days. Sacamoto’s body is retrieved and buried in 2001.

Date of Birth: April 14, 1922
Date of Death: September 16, 1986 (age 64)

Summary: Saitomoto was a prominent member of the National Council throughout the 1970’s and early 1980’s. First elected to the council in 1964 he earned a reputation for his “cut-throat” style of politics. On Tokamoto’s death he saw the opportunity to take over the empire via a national election. Within a few days Saitomoto had passed a resolution in the National Council to order an election for Lord. Though with highly questionable election results, Saitomoto became Lord and Sacamoto was sent “away”. Soon after his rise to power the Kogasuma offered a “friendly” tournament between their best warriors. Saitomoto excepted the offer. Traveling to the border town of Gortel for the Tournament Saitomoto met Kogasuma Emperor Mo Mello. Foolishly undetected by the CM, Mo Mello orders the attack on all members of the CM Tournament team. A bomb in the viewer’s box blows Saitomoto and his family to pieces. The majority of the CM Tournament team is slaughtered that day.

Lord James Lancini Jr. (Lord- September 16, 1986- September 22,1986)

His many nieces and nephews soon followed him to the base and became leaders in their respective fields. During the Sacamoto/ Saitomoto election, Jim Brown Lancini allied himself with Sacamoto. After Sacamoto lost the election Lancini was placed as a fort deputy while the “friendly” Tournament was taking place. On the death of Saitomoto the National Council, needing an elder leader, placed Jim Lancini as Lord. Kogasuma ninjas soon find the fort bunker Lancini and his aides were stationed in. Jim Lancini is killed by a crossbow shot and his aides are killed. For the next four months the National Council temporarily run the Team Base and holds the position of Lord vacant. Jim Lancini’s body is finally buried in 1992.

Date of Death: March 4, 1987 (age 33)

Summary: After four months of having no Lord, the National Council installs Dark Storm in January 1987. Dark Storm, born Richard Fonz, was chosen because of his youth and was considered an up-and-coming talent in the council. Soon after becoming Lord, Dark Storm becomes tyrannical and orders a huge tax increase to fund his various “special projects”. The mass populous becomes enraged. Throughout the country calls are made for a new leader. By late February Tokamoto’s younger brother Quimoto becomes Dark Storms chief opponent. Dark Storm ignores Quimoto’s demand to step down and threatens a death sentence on Quimoto if he attacks the Team Base. On March 4, 1987 Quimoto’s forces raided the Team Base and Dark Storm is killed in a hail of arrows. His few chief aides are also killed. Given a state funeral by Quimoto and buried in the Team Base Cemetery, Dark Storm’s corpse is unearthed in 1990 and burned.

Date of Death: July 26, 1987 (age 77)

Summary: Quimoto was the younger of the two children of Lord Yatomi and Lady Okihoti. Quimoto grew up separately from his brother Tokamoto. Reunited in 1932, Quimoto would aid his brother in many of his early military campaigns. Over the years senseless bickering between the brothers soured their relationship. As the two brothers became elderly they mended their many quarrels. By 1987 Quimoto was the only “official” relative of Tokamoto still alive and was a magnet for pro-Tokamoto supporters. Though sick with cancer during the Dark Storm crisis he agreed to challenge the Lord. After Dark Storms overthrow, Quimoto eased tensions with the Kogasuma. A brief sense of normalcy covered the nation at this time. Quimoto’s health deteriorated sharply in July 1987 and succumbed to lung cancer and liver failure in late July.

Lord Chiang (Lord- July 26, 1987- August 14, 1987)

Date of Birth: March 18, 1902
Date of Death: December 8, 1987 (age 85)

Summary: Chiang had been a noted holy man for half a century. On Quimoto’s death Chiang, with his many supporters, ceased the Team Base and installs himself as Lord.
Though very elderly and feeble, Chiang held a cult-like allegiance from his followers. The National Council, fearing his growing dislike for them, sends a career politician, Tangamoto, and a secret commando force to topple Chiang. Chiang and his supporters are overthrown in a bloodless coup and Tangamoto becomes Lord. Chiang and his supporters flee to the border province of Monshahara and establish the Chiang Republic. Chiang also annexes the Kogasuma district of Askporto. Chaing himself dies of a heart attack that December but the Chiang Republic would remain until the Kogasuma invasion in 1996.

Lord Tangamoto (Lord- August 14, 1987- August 21, 1987)

When Tangamoto became Lord many of the CM Masters and Grandmasters became outraged that Tangamoto didn’t hunt down Chiang and invade the Chiang Republic. At this time Master Ninja Yamada reappears after many months of training. After several days of talks the Masters persuade Yamada to assassinate Tangamoto. Under the agreement Yamada would be given a full pardon when the head of the Masters, Kamasugi, became Lord. During a meeting Yamada beheads Tangamoto and immediately is given his pardon by incoming Lord Kamasugi.

Lord Kamasugi (Lord- August 21, 1987- October 9, 1987)

Date of Death: October 9, 1987 (age 70)

Summary: Kamasugi was a master in Karate, Kung Fu, and Jujitsu and until 1987 he ran a martial arts school. After Tangamoto had been removed from office Kamasugi and longtime friend Sato installed themselves as Lords. By splitting the office of Lord up into two they believed the National Council couldn’t interfere with their policies. Kamasugi’s major priority was to isolate the Chiang Republic and strongly defend the national borders with the Kogasuma. Kamasugi’s largest project while Lord was the creation of a huge defense tower near the Kogasuma border. This tower angered the Kogasuma and while Kamasugi was making a visit to the tower, assassins blew the tower up and incinerated Kamasugi within it.

Lord Sato (Lord- August 21, 1987- November 11, 1987)

Date of Birth: April 24, 1917
Date of Death: July 29, 1992 (age 75)

Summary: Sato was a longtime partner of Kamasugi’s and both ran various martial arts schools. With the death of Tangamoto Sato joined his friend to run the empire. Sato chiefly concentrated on internal troubles of the Team Base and military while Kamasugi dealt with the Kogasuma. After Kamasugi’s death, Sato began to search for a successor to continue the split leadership style they had created. Within a week he had chosen two elderly former mayors who would share the office of Lord. Lords Fuju and Kamoto had little interest in running the empire but enjoyed the position nevertheless. In November 1987 while on a trip all three Lords were kidnapped by Kogasuma ninjas. Sato would remain a captive until 1989 when Yamada rescued him.
After a few years of peaceful retirement Sato became angered by Lord Hamuru’s tyrannical regime and in January 1992 Sato forms the Union of Independence. He makes himself the President of this group and various disgruntled ex-team members join him including former Lord Kim Sheng Tang. Threw friends in the National Council he falsely declares himself Lord and President. A civil war between Sato and Hamuru erupts. During this time Sato marries Lily Oto (1948-2002). Hamuru’s force defeat many of the UI forces and finally in July 1992 Sato is assassinated while greeting his remaining troops.

Fuju agreed but many in the National Council believed Fuju had Alzheimer’s disease because his memory was so bad. During their brief rule Fuju had little input into the decisions being made. Captured in November 1987 Fuju would die in captivity.

Lord Kamoto (Lord- October 16, 1987- November 11, 1987)

Date of Birth: January 20, 1902

Ying Lo was a very respected martial arts master and briefly trained Master Ninja Yamada. He trusted Yamada and made him chief of all covert operations. Ying Lo also planned an invasion of the Chiang Republic but while traveling with his aides he was brutally beaten to death by Kogasuma fighters. His remains would be buried in the Team Base Cemetery the following year,

Lord Zang (Lord- November 28, 1987- March 1, 1990)

He had helped fight back the Kogasuma in the 1930’s and was awarded a huge estate in 1940 for his loyalty. Though never married his longtime companion was Suzie Hamada (1918-) whom he lived with since 1968 and Zang helped raise her daughter Ranee. Zang also had a family of trusted assistants, the Horowitz’s. Manney Horowitz, the elder, was his one-armed personal assistant and aide. Manney’s brothers David, Melvin, and Draydul were chief assistants to him for over twenty years.
In 1987 Zang was chosen to succeed Ying Lo. Even though very elderly the soldiers took a great liking to Zang because of his womanizing and his willingness to allow parties on the Team Base compound. Unlike many of his predecessors he had others lead the battles with the Kogasuma and the Chiang Republic. Zang was also noted as an amateur acupuncturist. His first challenge was the internal rebellion in 1988 by a radical church leader, Rev. Coleberg (1908-1988). Coleberg was removed and killed but his few supporters would form the Coleberg Foundation and wage a guerrilla war against CM troops. Yamada and PeeWee Ninja, as in the past, were the chief ninja leaders with Major Tang Fu Lii. During his term Zang would father two children (Zamada and Yi Yama) with Suzie Hamada’s daughter Ranee. Even though enjoying his position as Lord, Zang in 1989 announced Teng Ying Li as his eventual successor. Zang soon ordered the building of another huge estate for his retirement. Lord Zang over his two years in office never made plans to invade the Kogasuma or the Chiang Republic in a large scale. When his estate was finished in 1990 Zang quietly retired there with his chief supporters and assistants.
Zang would enjoy two years of retirement before being arrested for embezzlement and corruption by the radical members of the National Council and Kalimoto in July 1992. Put on trial with (then) Ex-Lord Hamuru and many of his assistants, Zang was sentenced to death in February 1993. Soon thereafter Zang suffered a stroke and became an invalid. The death sentence was temporarily stayed until Zang would die but Hamuru’s supporters freed all imprisoned leaders on June 1, 1993. Hamuru and his supporters return overnight to topple Kalimoto in a very bloody coup. After the coup Hamuru invites the dying Zang to return to the Team Base to die. Zang would spend his last week of life at the base.

On taking office, Ying Li promised to continue Zang’s policies and kept many of Zang’s officials. Dissatisfied at the attacks by the Kogasuma, Ying Li headed an invasion team in April 1990 onto an island in the Xi Ocean and eventually into southern Kogasuma. Ying Li’s force was very successful at first but by late April his invasion began to fail. With his invasion failing Ying Li promised a counter invasion in early May but on May 6th his island stronghold was invaded and Ying Li was killed.

Date of Birth: February 1, 1924
Date of Death:

Summary: Wyn Chun Zhi was an expert in many martial arts and a noted teacher in the CM before becoming Lord. On Ying Li’s death, Chun Zhi was named his successor. Chun Zhi made great efforts not to repeat the mistakes of Ying Li. His first term was relatively uneventful and he retired in late September 1990. After his successor Cheng Ming Li retired in January 1991, Chun Zhi returned. Unlike before now he wished to secretly attack the Kogasuma Imperial City and Royal Palaces. In June 1991 his troops lead a successful attack on the Royal Palaces and Emperor Sutamuru was forced to flee the Imperial City. Soon the CM was push out of the country but Chun Zhi had managed to disgrace the Kogasuma leadership. Chun Zhi was very concerned about a possible assassination attempt and lost interest in running the empire so in July 1991 he retired for a second time. Chun Zhi has lived quietly since leaving office.

Having retired from teaching in 1979 Cheng Ming Li was surprised that he was asked to succeed Lord Chun Zhi. His four-month term was uneventful. Plagued with a lung aliment, Cheng Ming Li was ill during most of his term and decided to retire in January 1991.
As a longtime friend of Hamuru, Cheng Ming Li secretly advised him when he rose to power in August 1991. When Hamuru was jailed and sentenced to death, Cheng Ming Li organized a secret mission from his retirement home with former members of the Hamuru (2nd) regime, to free him. In June 1993 his force attacked the prison Hamuru was jailed in and with a few thousand supporting troops went to the Team Base to overthrow Lord Kalimoto. Kalimoto was killed and Hamuru became Lord. As a gift for his loyalty Hamuru made Cheng Ming Li one of his top advisors in his 3rd regime. Though ill early on in this new job, in 1995 Cheng Ming Li had a successful lung operation and his health improved. By 2001 Cheng Ming Li was the second highest-ranking member of the Hamuru regime. In 1988 he was asked by his longtime friend Lord Zang to be his Assistant Lord, he accepted. He served as Assistant Lord from 1988-1989 before being captured and jailed by Kogasuma fighters. In November 1989 he was released. In 1991, his friend Cheng Ming Li asked Hamuru to hold the position of Lord until Wyn Chun Zhi could arrive and take control; Hamuru would be Lord for three days.
Later in 1991, when pro-Tokamoto radicals under Lord Kiamoto started to reverse many of the empires policies, Hamuru, joined by many of his supporters, toppled Kiamoto in a bloodless coup. With his aides Chin Xing (1911-2001), Kusugi (1914-), Pi Lo (1910-2004), Ka-Ton (1920-1998) and Rev. Heitzer (1915-), he established an empire designed in his own style. He immediately waged war on Kogasuma forces and captured Kogasuma Emperor Sing Do Sho’s daughters (killed one and marrying the other). In early 1992 former Lord Sato for control of the nation challenged Hamuru. A fierce civil war erupted. In February Hamuru steps down as Lord to concentrate on the war, giving power to Tai Quing. By July 1992 Hamuru was victorious over Sato but was soon jailed by National Council radicals and Kalimoto. Hamuru immediately races to the Team Base and attacks Lord Kalimoto’s regime. Kalimoto is brutally butchered and the National Council is temporarily suspended.
For over two years Hamuru would purge the CM Empire of all of its state enemies, many were killed by the time Hamuru opened the country and the National Council in 1995. During the next several years Hamuru would concentrate on developing an elite team of fighters and leaders. With little trouble from the Kogasuma, Hamuru secretly planned an invasion. In August 2001 Hamuru orders an invasion of the Kogasuma. With the land they occupied they established a satellite government, Occupied Kogasuma. During the next year and a half Hamuru ordered all natural resources such as coal, gold, silver, iron, oil, and copper to be gathered and shipped back to the CM. The CM forces were forced out in January 2003.
Hamuru would also have to fight off internal factions such as Lily Oto’s Union of Independence and later the Ko Guerrillas. In a secret deal for his release, Hamuru had former Kalimoto staff member Tokimowa released from prison in 2001 in exchange Tokimowa was to take over Lily Oto’s hold on the UI. At the same time the Kogasuma gave Lily Oto the old Chiang Republic territory. Tokimowa successfully toppled Lily Oto and forms the Union Republic in 2002. Lily Oto and her few remaining supporters were captured and killed in 2002. Kiamoto was the companion and eventually second husband of Ilene Fox, Tokamoto’s longtime love pursuit. Soon after their 1986 marriage Ilene Fox dies of cancer. Grief stricken, Kiamoto retires with Ilene’s daughter Suzanne. After seeing the constant change of leadership in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s Kiamoto is persuaded to take control of the empire. When Chun Zhi retires Kiamoto, with help from friends in the National Council becomes Lord. He calls for a “leap back” policy to the policies of Tokamoto. Tai Quing moved to the Team Base in 1989 and followed Lord Ying Li on his ill-fated 1990 invasion of Kogasuma. After being jailed for six months he retired from public life. When Lord Hamuru was consumed with his troubles with Sato, Hamuru asked Tai Quing to hold his seat as Lord while he fought Sato. Tai Quing agreed and took office in February 1992. As the Hamuru/Sato conflict escalated, a group of supporters of Grandmaster Kalimoto began to secretly strip power away from Tai Quing. By June 1992 Grandmaster Kalimoto was running the CM government secretly with close allies in the National Council. Tai Quing had become simply a figurehead of the empire. When Hamuru and Zang are arrested in July 1992, Kalimoto barred Tai Quing from any comments or actions. Finally in December 1992 Kalimoto forces Tai Quing to retire. He brought in his own, new staff and had older staff stationed far away. In February 1993 he had his “puppet” judge sentence Hamuru and Zang to death. Zang had a stroke soon thereafter and Kalimoto, knowing Zang was still popular with some, temporally stayed the executions until Zang died. He also began to kill rival members of the National Council who opposed his friends there. Unknown to Kalimoto was the fact that former Lord Cheng Ming Li was secretly planning a prison rescue for Hamuru/Zang. On the early morning of June 1, 1993 these supporters freed Hamuru/Zang and Hamuru swiftly races to the Team Base to challenge Kalimoto. That evening, a very blood coup takes place. Kogasuma Emperors

Emperor Yamachi (Emperor- September 1, 1981- August 28, 1986)

Date of Birth: November 27, 1918
Date of Death: August 28, 1986 (age 67)

Summary: Yamachi was the son of Emperor Chinagu (1894-1981) who ruled the Kogasuma Empire from 1957-1981. On his father’s death, Yamachi became Emperor and generally continued his father’s policies. As CM Lord Tokamoto’s health began to decline in the 1980’s Yamachi began to hire specialist (mostly ninja) to weaken the CM political infrastructure. Yamachi was very ill throughout his reign and by 1985 Yamachi had had four heart attacks, two heart operations, and one kidney had been removed. Knowing time wasn’t on his side he accelerated plans and ordered many small scale attacks on CM targets. Yamachi would live to see Tokamoto’s death but would die only two weeks later.

Emperor Mo Mello (Emperor- August 28, 1986- January 18, 1987)

Date of Birth: June 20, 1916
Date of Death:

Summary: Mo Mello was the eldest of the famous three sons of Emperor Chinagu. He was trained as a future politician and held a seat in the Kogasuma Senate from 1957-1959; 1970-1982. His brother Yamachi was trained in the world of business. And his youngest brother Tomayoto (1919-1984) was generally the playboy of the Kogasuma Royal House. In 1959 Mo Mello was briefly hospitalized in a sanitarium after the death of his wife. On his father’s death, rivals in the Kogasuma Senate were able to use his four-month sanitarium stay to exclude him from becoming Emperor. His brother Yamachi, not very willingly, was chosen in his place. When Yamachi died, Mo Mello had weakened his rivals hold of the majority of seats in the Senate and was quickly made Emperor. The greatest military victory he earned was the “Friendly Tournament” slaughter in 1986 when Mo Mello organized the plan to kill the CM Lord Saitomoto and many of it leaders. This act got Mo Mello great acclaim from his supporters but gave added resolve to his rivals in the Senate. In January 1987 he was surprisingly removed from office in a Senate referendum.
Vowing to get revenge on his enemies in the Kogasuma Senate, Mo Mello secretly organized a covert operation to place his distant cousin Sutamuru into power. In 1988 Mo Mello and Sutamuru overthrew Emperor Chin in a bloody coup. Mo Mello enjoyed the position of elder statesman during the reign of Sutamuru. When Sutamuru retired Mo Mello retired as well. Over the next ten years Mo Mello became increasingly outraged by the weak and reckless policies of Emperor Sing Do Sho and his puppet successor Matsimoto. In 2002 he covertly began to plan the overthrow of Emperor Matsimoto and to install his son Sanamoto as Emperor. In April 2003, with intelligence help from the CM, Sanamoto toppled Matsimoto in a bloodless coup. Mo Mello again became an elder statesman.

Emperor (Master) Chin (Emperor- January 18, 1987- February 9, 1988)

Date of Birth: September 19, 1911
Date of Death: February 9, 1988 (age 76)

Summary: Master Chin was a top Kung Fu expert in the Kogasuma for decades. He had many friends in the Kogasuma Senate and was widely known for his strong leadership skills. In 1987 the Senate removed Emperor Mo Mello from power and abolished the monarchy system. Chin was honored to be placed as Emperor (Chin preferred to be call Master instead of Emperor) and ordered the building of many huge fortresses on the CM border. Chin’s fall from grace came in October 1987 when the newly formed Chiang Republic annexed the Kogasuma province of Askporto and Chin ordered no defense. Members of the deposed monarchy began planning an overthrow of Chin’s government and in February 1988 Sutamuru and Mo Mello successfully did that. The coup was very bloody for Kogasuma standards and Chin was killed in the assault on his palace.

Emperor Sutamuru (Emperor- February 9, 1988- July 31, 1991)

Date of Birth: July 22, 1928
Date of Death: October 4, 1992 (age 64)

Summary: Sutamuru was the son of legendary Emperor Toyomoko (1857-1938) who ruled for almost fifty years, 1889-1938. Sutamuru was one of twenty children of Toyomoko. As one of the youngest sons of Toyomoko, Sutamuru never planned to be Emperor. He spent most of his life running a fishery. A loyal friend to his distant cousins Mo Mello, Yamachi, and Tomayoto, Sutamuru was persuaded in 1988 by Mo Mello to lead a revolt of the Chin government. At first Sutamuru disliked the idea but over time and as his supporters grew he changed his mind. After Chin was toppled, Sutamuru reinstated the monarchy. The first half of his reign was very successful and he became very popular with his citizens. He luck began to change in 1990 when CM Lord Ying Li invaded and many marauding CM soldiers pillaged the Kogasuma countryside. Another smaller invasion in 1991 forced Sutamuru to flee his palace in disgrace. Sutamuru became critically ill with pancreatic cancer in July 1991 and retired after doctors gave his little chance of survival. He died from his cancer the following year.

Emperor Sing Do Sho (Emperor- July 31, 1991- October 11, 2001)

Date of Birth: January 27, 1940
Date of Death: July 15, 2006 (age 66)

Summary: When Emperor Sutamuru became gravely ill he called upon his cousin, Sing Do Sho to succeed him. Sing Do Sho was a respected member of his internal advisory board and for many years worked with the Kogasuma Senate. After becoming Emperor, Sing Do Sho reinforced the policies of Sutamuru. He surrounded himself with an expert team of advisors. In December 1991 CM forces kidnapped two of his daughters. One Hamuru held for ransom (eventually killing her) and the other he married. Angered, Sing Do Sho vowed revenge but his advisors warned of any huge counter attack. Secretly Sing Do Sho began to send aid to CM former Lord Sato in his attempt to defeat Hamuru. After Sato lost, Sing Do Sho simply took the strategy of waiting for an elderly Hamuru just to die. This strategy would eventually bring down his rule. In 1996, with escalating tensions with the Chiang Republic, Sing Do Sho would order an invasion. The invasion was successful and Sing Do Sho was praised by many for finally defeating the Chiang Republic. By 2000 the Kogasuma Empires defense had lightened considerably because there had been no attacks by CM forces in several years. Sing Do Sho’s policy of “waiting Hamuru out” seemed to be working. In August 2001 Hamuru ordered an invasion of the Kogasuma. Within a months time a third of the Kogasuma was under CM control. Hamuru established a satellite government there. The Kogasuma populace was furious with Sing Do Sho and demanded him to resign. Under huge pressure, Sing Do Sho resigned.
Having resigned he installed his friend Matsimoto as Emperor. Soon as he left office his wife and most of his remaining children were kidnapped by CM forces, put on a show trial, and finally executed. Sing Do Sho eventually moved to the Castle of Korbokorbex to lead attacks on the CM Empire. In 2002 he aligned himself with the renowned mercenary clan, the Elmack. In 2003 the Ko Guerrillas would unify with Sing Do Sho and Elmack to form a lethal guerrilla force. By this time Emperor Matsimoto had been removed from office and Emperor Sanamoto was very willing to crush Sing Do Sho, who in fact wanted to be Emperor again. Sanamoto secretly allowed CM forces to attack Castle Korbokorbex. In November 2003 CM forces defeat Sing Do Sho’s forces and Sing Do Sho escaped and goes into hiding. Sing attempted to return to power in a plot with Gen. Fuji in 2006, but was killed just as the plan took effect.

Emperor Matsimoto (Emperor- October 11, 2001- April 21, 2003)

Date of Birth: June 23, 1947
Date of Death:

Summary: Matsimoto spent most of his adult life in the military. Joining the Kogasuma military in 1966 he rose to the rank of general by 1989 and was supreme general of the Kogasuma army by 1991. As head general he got a reputation for being very thorough and fair. Emperor Sing Do Sho, in 1996, asked Matsimoto to lead an invasion on the troublesome Chiang Republic. Matsimoto organized a near flawless campaign that resulted in the quick fall of the Chiang Republic. In 1997 Matsimoto retired from the military but in 2000 Sing Do Sho asked him to join the Kogasuma Senate and he accepted. With the CM invasion of 2001 a disgraced Sing Do Sho asked Matsimoto to become Emperor, at least until the CM were forced out. Matsimoto accepted and throughout his one and a half-year reign his major focus was the removal of the CM from Kogasuma. In January 2003 the CM satellite government in Kogasuma collapsed but Matsimoto had become very weak during his time as Emperor. With little support in the country for Sing Do Sho, Matsimoto was a “lame duck”. That April, Mo Mello’s son Sanamoto, in a bloodless coup, forced Matsimoto to retire. Matsimoto retired to his estate quietly.

Emperor Sanamoto (Emperor- April 21, 2003- July 3, 2006)

Date of Birth: January 31, 1957
Date of Death:

Summary: Sanamoto is the only child of Mo Mello and was raised during the peaceful years of his grandfather’s reign. Sanamoto studied Kogasuma history and worked on improving the standard of living of the Kogasuma people during the reign of his father and Sutamuru. During the 1990’s and the reign of Emperor Sing Do Sho, Sanamoto like many in the monarchy, became increasingly troubled by his weak defense of the empire and Sing Do Sho’s poor political decisions. With his father’s help, in 2003, Sanamoto forced Emperor Matsimoto to retire in a bloodless power struggle. On taking office, Sanamoto immediately organized a top quality defense force and rebuilt the political infrastructure from the ground up. Sanamoto became very admired by his citizens for his quick and successful actions. Sanamoto was toppled during a revolt let by Gen. Fuji, on the orders of former Emperor Sing Do Sho. Sanmoto was sparred by Fuju because his father, Mo Mello, was good to him during his reign. Sanamoto was exiled to a western Kogasuma palace.

Emperor Fuji (Emperor- July 3, 2006-    )

Date of Birth: July 28, 1941
Date of Death:

Summary: Hanakozi Fuji was born into a military family, his father being a trusted general during the 1931-1948 Kogasuma-Mumoshi War. Fuji's father was killed in battle when he was two and was raised by his mother and her second husband Tokikaru Usiga (1908-1976). Fuji entered the Kogasuma military in 1960 and rose to the rank of general in 1979 at the remarkably young age of thirty-eight. A year later Fuji would loose his left eye in a dual with a Kogasuma officer. Fuji would serve the emperors of the Kogasuma loyally until being dismissed in 1989 by Emperor Sutamuru. In 2001, Emperor Matsmoto re-instated Fuji as a full general to help drive off the CM after they invaded. In 2004, exiled Emperor Sing Do Sho secretly began to correspond with Fuji about a plan to overthrow Emperor Sanamoto. The plan came into effect in late June 2006 with the seizure of the Imperial palace, with the plan to give the throne to Sing Do Sho. Sing was killed in a surprise attack on his castle, Castle Olni, just after Fuji seized the capital. Fuji decided to make himself emperor and sent Sanamoto into exile, only sparring his life since his father, Emperor Mo-Mello, had been a good to him during his reign.
