Continued from....Blue Equinox I

At midnight Juki Wu arrives at the pit near the old city gallows. Juno is with her on this cool night. Juki says, "This is something that I have to do as a warrior. Keyoto taught me that you should always be ready to fight anyone who has wronged you. Valerie Fox wronged me and we will fight to the death." Juno says, "Is there anything I can say to keep you from fighting? I don't think we need to pick fights with people, leave your Demon history in the past." Juki snarls, "Nothing you can say will stop me. How can you even think of letting her get away with what she did TO ME!!!???" Juno says, "Her sister helped me when I was in captivity, you should think more clearly." Juki turns to Juno with an evil scowl and coldly says, "You will never understand what it is like to be a Demon Ninja. Her sister injured our master and she helped put me into a torturous laboratory for over a month." Juki becomes even more angry and yells, "That Dr. Jang artificially inseminated me while I was there. I don't know if Yellow Demon is the babies father, I don't know who it could be but I will find out before I kill Valerie Fox." Juno is shocked and says, "Why have you kept this from me? YD wasn't the father?" Juki snarls, "It's against the Demon Ninja code to say of such things. Yellow Demon knew when he went to his death that he was the father, that's what has to remain as the truth in the world." With that a voice rings out from the night's shadows, "Are you ready?"

Juki and Juno look around a see Valerie Fox appear from out of the dark. She says, "Am I fighting both of you or just Juki?" Juno says, "I do not wish to fight you. I wish you two would reconsider this fight." Valerie says, "I see you have brought no weapons, I guess this will be a hand to hand fight?" Juki says, "I wouldn't dishonor my weapons by staining them with your blood." Valerie laughs and says, "So be it!" As Valerie stretches and Juki turns to Juno, a bottle hits Juno in the head. Juno falls to the ground, shocked. Yamada comes out of the dark and says, "We have unfinished business from last time Royal Dragon." Juki howls with rage, "You bastard! You have no honor, attacking Juno like that. You nearly killed my brother. After I finish off Valerie you'll be next." Juno stands but feels his warm blood cover the side of his head were the bottle had hit him. Juno turns to Yamada and says, "You shouldn't done that, now you will pay." As Juno advances on Yamada, Yamada runs. Juno darts after him into the dark countryside. Juki looks at Valerie and says, "You set him up to do that. You really are a monster." Valerie with her arms crossed says, "No, I did not, not like you would believe me anyway. If Juno were a ninja, he would have been ready for such an attack. What can I say to you, even Yamada out smarted you all those months ago. You couldn't even kill him when you had the chance. I'm curious to see what Demon Keyoto has taught you." Juki's eye roll back in her head as a deep roar is belted out. Juki yells, "You are about to fight the demon within me."

As Juki walks toward Valerie, Valerie briefly bows, as she does this Juki yells, "I'm not bowing to you, prepare to fight!" Juki delivers a series of kicks in which Valerie blocks. Juki throws a few punches, blocked again. Juki simmers as Valerie stand, starring at her. Juki thinks to herself, "I have to handicap her. Valerie's upper body is very powerful and I have to keep her from punching or grabbing me." Valerie thinks, "Come on, you have all this Demon Ninja nonsense in which you use as energy. I'll just drain her stamina." Juki takes out a belt she bought in the village and holds it behind her. Juki leaps onto Valerie and they wrestle on the ground. Juki is able to wrap the belt around Valerie's arms and torso, locking it tight. Valerie gets to her feet but Juki tries to wrap her arms around Valerie's neck, to break it.

Juki screams, "You will regret fighting a powerful Demon woman. I will give you no mercy for what you put me through!" As Juki tries to wrap her arms around Valerie's neck, she discovers she can't get a good hold because Valerie has places her shoulder between her neck and Juki's arm. Juki roars with frustration. Juki notices Valerie's shoulders are thick with muscle and tries in vain to snap her neck. She pulls Valerie's head back and tries again but to no avail. Juki becomes hysterical with rage, as she tries to kick and punch Valerie, but she's unable to deliver her blows as Valerie blocks the strike with her legs. Juki and Valerie look into each other's eyes and plan their next moves. Valerie says, "Do you think this belt will hold me? Come on, do your homework next time!" Juki yells absentees. Valerie answers, "Demon Keyoto should have washed your mouth out with soap for using such dirty language. Not the kind of language a future royal would speak." Juki eyes bulge as her rage is at it's height. Juki circles around Valerie and grabs her ponytail and yanks it.

Valerie says as Juki pulls her ponytail, "I've had about all of your foolishness as I will take." Valerie snaps the belt that's tied around her and turns around. Juki tries to tug on Valerie's ponytail but Valerie pulls her ponytail from Juki's hands. Juki begins to say something but Valerie kicks her in the face. Juki's eyes bulge again. Juki tries to throw a series of punches but Valerie delivers a powerful chop to Juki's chest and shoulder area. Juki is completely dazed but the fury from within her masks the pain as it shoots through her body.

Valerie gives another, even harder chop to Juki's chest. This chop connects with such impact, it sounds as if a bolt of lightning has struck her. Juki falls to the ground as the pain of the blow paralyzes her. Valerie grabs Juki's neck from behind and pulls her up. Juki yells, "You bitch, you bitch...!" Valerie strikes a "Snake fist" series of strikes to Juki's back. Valerie then leaps onto Juki's back and delivers an intense, pressure hold onto Juki's neck. Juki is barely able to scream. Valerie leaps off and watches as Juki writhes in pain on the ground, blood coming from her mouth and ears. Valerie says calmly, "I can't believe you claimed to be a student of Keyoto. You should never challenge people so indiscriminately. I only sparred your life because, quite frankly, you're such a pitiful fighter. You will recover from your injuries but you will never fight again. Go have babies with Royal Dragon and live the life of a Kogasuma royal. Be thankful I was merciful, many others wouldn't be. For the record too, I tried to help you when you were in captivity. You were too hardheaded to realize this. If you ever challenge me or my family again, I will kill you without a second thought. I'll notify someone that you are here." Juki soon passes out from the pain. Valerie writes a letter to Demon Keyoto, signing it with Juki's blood and walks away.

Royal Dragon while running down the road stops as he comes to Valerie. He says, "What happened? Is Juki...??" Valerie says, "No, I sparred her life, but she will never be able to fight anyone again." Royal Dragon yells, "What did you do to her?" Valerie says, "Let's just says she will never be able to lift her arms above her shoulders again. I paralyzed several of her nerves. By the way where is Yamada?" Royal Dragon is stunned and says, "Oh, he just run into the village. He sent a few soldiers to confront me but I beat them quickly." Valerie begins to walk way when Royal Dragon asks, "Where is Juki?" Valerie points down the trial and says, "If you seek vengeance for what happened to Juki, just let me know." Valerie walks off as Royal Dragon runs down the trail.

Royal Dragon finds Juki laying on the ground. He lifts her up and gently carries her to the Kogasuma hotel. As he arrives he sees Yuki Wu. Yuki asks what has happed to Juki and Juno informs her of the fight. Yuki is shocked and stone faced. As Royal Dragon pleads for medics to address Juki's injuries, Yuki Wu looks out of a window. Royal Dragon walks over to her and says, "Why are you here anyway?" Yuki says, "Our father died this morning. I'm so glad he never knew about this and Zuki's stabbing. My siblings are fools." Yuki walks off as Royal Dragon thinks to himself about what Yuki just said.

Yamada sees Valerie pack her bags as she leaves the CM hotel. Yamada walks up and asks, "I presume you killed Juki Wu?" Valerie turns and says, "No, I did not kill Juki Wu." Yamada shouts, "Why not, was it some sort of honor thing? Did Royal Dragon return before you could finish her off?" Valerie replies, "First of all, why did you get involved? This was between Juki Wu and myself. Second, I finished Juki off before Royal Dragon returned. Juki Wu was a poor fighter, she fought with her emotions. She knew nothing whatsoever of mathematical thinking. She seemed to have a lot in common with...." Valerie pauses for a second and then finishes, "....oh never mind." Yamada bellows, "I was there to fight Royal Dragon. He ran from me when I challenged him later. Great, you now will have Royal Dragon, Demon Keyoto and even Yellow Demon, if he's alive, after you for this. You will have your hands full indeed." Valerie continues to pack her horse and replies, "I was ready for Royal Dragon today if he attacked me. I have a letter for Keyoto, it will be his call if he wants vengeance. As for Yellow Demon, Melinda told me the news reports that indicted his death were from unreliable sources. My guess is that he is either badly injured or hiding for some reason. If all these men want to fight me to defend Juki Wu, I surely feel sorry for them. I can't see why anyone would feud over Juki Wu." Yamada laughs, "You are full of venom today! Why are you leaving?" Valerie climbs onto her horse and says, "I have to deliver this note to Hiroto and I'm heading home. I didn't come to fight. I see the advantages of my sisters antisocial behavior in times like this. Take care Yamada and stay out of trouble." Valerie rides off as Yamada walks into the hotel.

Valerie arrives at an outpost near the Union Republic border were the Demon Ninja delegation is staying. She dismounts her horse and walks up to a group of Demon Ninjas. One of the troops asks, "What do you want? Give us your name lady!" Valerie says, "I have a message that is to be delivered to Demon Keyoto. Please show me to your leader here." As she walks into the group Erisu and Edosu notice this female visitor. Gen. Hiroto is sitting down as Valerie enters a small room in which the Demon Ninjas are staying. Hiroto asks, "What can I do for you Ms. Fox, is it?" Valerie says, "Yes sir. I simply have a message for Demon Keyoto. I trust that you will deliver this to him personally." She hands the scroll to Hiroto and walks out.

As she get back onto her horse and rides off, Edosu asks Erisu, "Who was that? She's gorgeous!" Erisu replies, "I believe that was The Blue Arrow, Valerie Fox." Hiroto opens the scroll and reads it,

"Demon Keyoto, Your student Juki Wu informed me that you still wish harm upon my elder sister. If this is true, I will have to take my sister's place and you can resolve your issues with me. I was of the understanding that this issue was resolved some time ago. This note was signed with Juki's blood. Valerie Huntington"
